Schloss Ludwigsburg, Royal palace in Loissin, Germany.

The Renaissance palace features original architectural elements with grand halls, ornate decorations, and expansive gardens surrounding the main building structure.

Duchess Sophia Hedwig of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel received the estate in 1586 and initiated the construction of the palace with a grant of 1000 guilders.

The palace stands as one of the last remaining Renaissance buildings of the Pomeranian dukes, preserving the architectural heritage of northern Germany.

The German government allocated 20 million euros in 2017 for the restoration of the palace and its transformation into a museum.

During World War II, the palace served as a storage facility for newspaper archives before becoming temporary housing for refugees.
