Our Lady's Church, Fürth, Parish church in Fürth, Germany
The Neoclassical building features a rectangular bell tower, flat-roofed nave, and round apse with minimal decorative elements on its exterior walls.
The church, designed by Leo von Klenze, opened in 1829 as the first post-Reformation Catholic church in Fürth, marking a return of Catholic worship to the region.
The ceiling paintings reflect the Munich School artistic tradition, while the interior houses a Madonna and Child sculpture from 1563 surrounded by rosary mysteries mosaics.
The church maintains regular services on Wednesdays and Sundays, with confessional services available on Saturdays for the congregation of 4,100 Catholics.
The Jewish community of Fürth contributed 300 guilders to the church construction, while a Lutheran merchant donated the main bell.
