St. Gangolf, Catholic parish church in Amorbach, Germany.
The church features three naves of equal height, with sandstone walls punctuated by round-arched windows and ionic pilasters dividing the exterior surfaces.
Alexander Jakob Schmidt designed the church in 1751, replacing a Gothic structure that had served the community since the 12th century.
The ceiling frescoes by Johannes Zick from 1753 depict scenes from the lives of Saint Sebastian and Saint Gangolf across the central nave.
The church opens daily for visitors, except during religious services, with guided tours available upon request at the parish office.
Two pulpits enhance the interior symmetry, with the northern one being decorative while the southern serves its traditional function.
