St. Peter and Paul Wusterhausen

St. Peter and Paul stands with its characteristic low tower, red brick walls, and cross-shaped basilica structure in the center of Wusterhausen.

The church construction began in the mid-13th century as a Romanesque basilica, with significant Gothic extensions and alterations continuing through the 15th century.

The church interior displays Renaissance artworks, including a pulpit from 1610, a baptismal font from 1712, and medieval wall paintings throughout the space.

Visitors can access the church during summer opening hours or schedule visits through the parish office at Sankt-Petri-Straße 7 in Wusterhausen.

The Wagner organ from 1742 maintains its original components and continues to function after restoration work completed in 1978.
