Haupt- und Landgestüt Neustadt an der Dosse

The Brandenburg State Stud spans across extensive grounds with designated areas for breeding stallions, broodmares, and training facilities for equestrian activities.

Friedrich Wilhelm II established this state breeding center in 1788, making it one of Germany's few facilities combining both breeding stud and stallion depot functions.

The institute maintains 48 stallions through the Brandenburg-Anhalt breeding association and operates 18 regional stations for horse breeding programs.

The facility welcomes 30,000 visitors each year for national competitions, breeding events, and educational programs certified by the German Horse Federation.

The Graf-Lehndorff-Institute conducts horse science research in partnership with the Veterinary University of Vienna since 2007.
