Église Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie, Former church in Paris
Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie was a significant Catholic place of worship.
Established in the 12th century, it is best known as a starting point for pilgrims on the Way of St. James.
It was a prominent parish for merchants and butchers in the city.
Today, only its tower remains, repurposed as a memorial.
The tower stands as the sole surviving part after the church was demolished in the 19th century.
