The Palais Bourbon, a palace located on the left bank of the Seine, across from the Place de la Concorde, Paris.
Originally built for the legitimised daughter of Louis XIV and Françoise-Athénaïs, marquise de Montespan - Louise-Françoise de Bourbon, Duchess of Bourbon, in 1722.
Since 1798, it has been the seat of the French National Assembly, the lower legislative chamber of the French government.
It is not open to the public except when the National Assembly is meeting.
The palace is structured around an octagonal courtyard, with its focus on the French garden front.
