Collégiale Notre-Dame d'Écouis, Gothic religious monument in Écouis, France
The collegiate church features a cruciform layout with a longer choir than nave, constructed entirely from Vernon stone with two massive towers framing the facade.
Built between 1310 and 1313 under Enguerrand de Marigny's direction, this church replaced an earlier structure dedicated to Saint Aubin with papal and royal approval.
The interior holds a collection of 14th-century statues, including Annunciation figures and representations of saints in the transepts and chapel sections.
The church maintains regular visiting hours from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with extended summer hours and specific schedules for different seasons throughout the year.
The choir stalls rank among France's oldest, while the church's marble effigy displays exceptional craftsmanship from the medieval period.
