Pont de l'île Saint-Denis, Heritage-listed tram bridge in Saint-Denis, France.
The double bridge spans across the Seine River, connecting Saint-Denis with Villeneuve-la-Garenne through L'Île-Saint-Denis using cast iron and stone construction.
Originally designed by engineer Louis-Pierre Caldagues, the bridge replaced an 1844 suspension structure and opened to traffic in 1905 after extensive construction work.
The bridge features decorative elements crafted by sculptor Florian Kulikowski, reflecting early 20th-century French architectural and artistic influences.
The structure carries both vehicular traffic on the former National Route 186 and the T1 tramway line, providing essential transportation links between northern Paris communities.
Located in France's only fluvial island town, the bridge withstood multiple accidents, including a German barge collision in 1941 and severe damage during the 1983 Seine floods.
