Temple Saint-Martin de Montbéliard, Renaissance Protestant church in Montbéliard, France.

The Temple Saint-Martin stands at 37 meters long, 16 meters wide, with white limestone walls and pink sandstone from Alsace.

Construction started in 1601 under architect Heinrich Schickhardt's direction, replacing an earlier Catholic church mentioned in records from 1343.

The temple represents Protestant religious heritage in eastern France, maintaining Lutheran traditions since its establishment in the 17th century.

The building remains closed for restoration work until early 2025, with guided visits scheduled to resume after completion.

The temple houses a classified tribune organ from 1755, renovated in 1989, which remains an essential part of its historical furniture.
