Eglise Saint-Leonard

The church features a flamboyant Gothic facade with intricate stone carvings, prismatic buttresses, and an octagonal bell tower crowned with a dome.

The original structure from 1186 was destroyed in 1419 during the English invasion, leading to reconstruction work throughout the 15th and 16th centuries.

The interior contains wooden vaulted ceilings, wall paintings, and a Charles Mutin organ from 1901 that received historical monument classification in 1993.

Located at 12 Place Saint-Leonard in southeastern Honfleur, the church opens daily and belongs to the Notre-Dame-de-l'Estuaire parish of Bayeux-Lisieux diocese.

The dome-shaped bell tower stands out in Norman architecture, displaying a design more commonly found in eastern French religious buildings.
