Saint Calminius Reliquary, Medieval reliquary in Mozac Abbey, France.

The wooden reliquary measures 81 centimeters in length and features fourteen copper plaques decorated with champlevé enamel illustrations.

Saint Calminius, a sixth-century nobleman from a Roman family in Clermont, established three monasteries including Mozac Abbey where the reliquary resides.

The copper plaques on the reliquary depict important moments from the lives of Saint Calminius and his wife Namadie through medieval artistic techniques.

The reliquary, originally displayed in the abbey church transept, now resides at Musée Dobrée where visitors can examine its detailed metalwork.

During the French Revolution, local resident Jean Ozenne concealed the reliquary to protect it from potential destruction or theft.
