Church of St Vincent, Neoclassical cathedral in Mâcon, France

The Saint-Vincent Cathedral features a balanced facade with triangular pediment, grand columns, and two symmetrical towers rising above the main entrance.

Emperor Napoleon financed the construction of this cathedral between 1808 and 1818, allocating 600,000 francs to replace the previous religious building.

The cathedral displays remarkable stained glass windows created by Jean-Baptiste Barrelon between 1858 and 1878, depicting biblical scenes and religious figures.

The cathedral contains a Callinet romantic organ from 1841, equipped with four keyboards, 42 registers, and 2,065 pipes requiring substantial maintenance.

The building originally carried the name Church of Napoleon before changing to Saint-Louis, and finally receiving its current name of Saint-Vincent.
