Leivonmäki National Park

The protected area spans over 30 square kilometers and includes ridges, lakes, swamps, and forests in the central region of Finland.

The Finnish government established this conservation area in 2003, naming it after the former municipality of Leivonmäki.

Visitors participate in traditional Finnish outdoor activities such as berry picking, mushroom gathering, and nature observation throughout the changing seasons.

The Harjujärvi trail features an accessible cooking shelter and boardwalks designed for visitors with mobility requirements to experience the natural environment.

The Koskikaran kierros trail leads through rapids in the northern section, while the Luupää path reveals geological formations in the southern part.
