St. Euphemia's Basilica, Baroque cathedral in Rovinj, Croatia
The cathedral spans 51 meters in length and 30 meters in width, with a central nave reaching 17 meters in height and two side naves.
Construction of the current structure began in 1725 over a former church of St. George, with completion in 1736 under architect Giovanni Dozza.
The church contains a Roman sarcophagus from the 6th century holding the relics of Saint Euphemia, with marble altars crafted by Venetian masters.
The bell tower offers views extending to the Alps during clear weather conditions, reaching a height of 61 meters above ground level.
A copper statue of Saint Euphemia rotates at the bell tower summit, functioning as a weather vane indicating wind direction.
