Kings City, Biblical theme park in Eilat, Israel
Kings City was a large entertainment complex built in the shape of a castle with multiple floors dedicated to biblical themes in Eilat. The facility included various attractions and zones that guided visitors through different exhibition areas.
The complex opened in 2005 after five years of construction guided by Disney consultants. The project closed in 2016 and was later converted into retail space.
The park presented biblical stories through various installations, including a 4D cinema showing ancient Egypt and water rides depicting King Solomon's life. Visitors moved through these themed areas experiencing religious narratives that held special meaning for the local community.
The former indoor park is located in central Eilat and is easily accessible by car or public transport. The converted structure is now used mainly as a commercial space, so only the outer architecture can be viewed from outside.
The exterior featured cascading water features flowing down from significant heights and integrated into the castle design. These dramatic water displays were a distinctive element that set the building apart from other structures in the city.
