Luna Park, Tel Aviv, Amusement park in Tel Aviv, Israel
Luna Park is an amusement park in Tel Aviv offering more than two dozen rides spread across a large site near the coast. The facility includes roller coasters, carousels, water slides, and a Ferris wheel that overlooks the city skyline.
The current park opened at this location in 1970, replacing an earlier amusement park in Jaffa that ran from the 1950s through the 1960s. The new site established itself as a modern urban attraction for families across the region.
The park functions as a central entertainment venue where Israeli families gather for celebrations, group activities, and traditional holiday festivities throughout the year.
All visitors pass through security screening at entry, and children require adult supervision throughout the visit. Many rides enforce minimum height requirements, so families should check the rules before queuing.
The historic carousel has been spinning for more than six decades and remains one of the oldest working rides in the park. The Anaconda roller coaster accelerates to speeds exceeding 75 kilometers per hour (47 miles per hour) and draws thrill seekers from across the country.
