Hansen House, Cultural center and heritage site in Talbiya, Jerusalem, Israel
The historic two-story structure features a distinctive bathroom tower and sits within maintained gardens at 14 Gdalyahu Alon Street in Jerusalem.
German architect Conrad Schick designed this building in 1887 as a leprosy hospital called Jesu-Hilfe, operated by the Protestant community of Jerusalem.
The Center for Design, Media, and Technology at Hansen House presents exhibitions while hosting programs from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
Hansen House opens Monday through Thursday from 10:00 to 18:00, with reduced hours on Fridays and Saturdays, offering free entry to its exhibitions.
The facility includes specialized spaces such as Hansen Fablab, a sound laboratory, an animation studio, and a movie theater for cultural productions.
