Tomb of Hafez, Mausoleum in Iran
The Tomb of Hafez is a memorial structure, erected in honor of the celebrated Persian poet Hafez.
The current mausoleum dates back to 1935, replacing the previous one which was built in 1773.
It's an important cultural destination, drawing millions of Persians who recite his poems and celebrate his life.
Located in Musalla Gardens in Shiraz, the site offers beautiful sights of gardens and water features.
Several variations of Hafez's poetry are inscribed within the tomb's surrounding areas.
