Marnan Bridge, Stone arch bridge in Isfahan, Iran

The Marnan Bridge extends 180 meters across the Zayandeh River with 17 spans constructed from stone, brick, and saruj materials.

The bridge foundations trace back to the Sassanid period, with subsequent reconstructions during the Safavid dynasty in 1600, 1691, and 1975.

The structure represents Persian engineering practices through its architectural elements and serves as a connection between Isfahan's northern district and Armenian quarter.

This dual-purpose crossing accommodates both pedestrian and bicycle traffic, standing at an elevation of 1570 meters above sea level.

The bridge received its alternative name, Sarfaraz, from Armenian administrators who managed its reconstruction during Shah Soleiman's reign.
