Bethlehem Church, Armenian church in New Julfa, Iran
The Bethlehem Church structure extends 31 meters in length and rises 25 meters high, featuring a central dome with a diameter of 11 meters.
The church opened in 1628 under the patronage of Armenian merchant Khaje Petros during the Safavid period and underwent substantial renovation in 1897.
The interior walls display 72 detailed paintings by Armenian artists, arranged in two distinct rows that narrate religious stories and biblical events.

The construction incorporates wooden trunks within its structure to provide resistance against seismic activity, combining safety engineering with traditional architecture.
