San Teodoro, Pavia, Romanesque church in Pavia, Italy.
The red brick San Teodoro church features three naves divided by cruciform pillars and includes a central dome with a two-part gallery.
Originally dedicated to Saint Agnes in 752, the church changed its dedication to Theodore, bishop of Pavia, around the year 1000.
The southern transept contains detailed frescoes from 1519 depicting Stories of Sant'Agnese, created by an unnamed Lombard artist with narrative captions.
The church welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Via Cardinale Maffi.
The 1525 fresco by Bernardino Lanzani presents an accurate topographical view of medieval Pavia with its towers, castle, bridge, and churches.
