Roseraie botanique Carla Fineschi

The Rosaleda Botánica Carla Fineschi is a botanical garden in Tuscany that houses an extraordinary collection of rose varieties. The plants are organized into distinct sections that represent different botanical categories and hybrid forms.

Professor Gianfranco Fineschi founded the garden in 1967 and devoted 30 years to developing this extensive rose collection. His work laid the foundation for what is now a recognized center for botanical research.

The garden is named after Carla Fineschi and was established by her family, who shaped this site of rose research with deep personal commitment. Visitors can sense the visible passion for plant life reflected in the careful labeling and arrangement of each rose.

The garden is open exclusively during May and June when the roses are in bloom, with convenient access for different types of transport. A parking area serves cars at the entrance, while buses can drop visitors near the gate.

The collection includes several rose varieties that were long considered extinct before being revived here. Each plant displays a detailed identification label with botanical information that tells visitors the story of each rose.
