Santa Maria delle Grazie, Minor basilica and shrine in San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy
The basilica displays neoclassical architecture with three naves supported by columns and twelve domes decorated with late 17th century frescoes.
Construction of the basilica began in 1484 following a reported miracle when a woman prayed to an image of Madonna to save her nephew from plague.
The basilica's museum houses notable artworks, including the Annunciation by Fra Angelico and paintings from the 15th to 17th centuries.
Visitors can access the museum through the basilica's right presbytery door or from outside via the left portico staircase at Piazza Masaccio 9.
The main altar features a miraculous image of Madonna delle Grazie framed by a Glory of Angels fresco from the 17th century.
