Giardino dell'Orticultura

The Giardino dell'Orticultura is a public garden in northern Florence spread across multiple levels with interconnected pathways. It features ornamental plants, study areas for botanical education, and a glass structure covering roughly 650 square meters used for exhibitions and plant cultivation.

The garden was founded in 1859 following initiatives by the Georgofili Academy and developed into a center for horticultural research and learning. This establishment played an important role in advancing gardening knowledge and practices throughout the Tuscany region.
