Pons Agrippae, Ancient bridge in Italy
The Pons Agrippae was a bridge constructed by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa in Rome.
Originally built in 62 BC, it was situated along the Via Tecta.
The bridge connected the Campus Martius with Trastevere region of Rome, playing a significant role in ancient city life.
Although its remains are not visible today, it contributed to the layout of modern Rome.
Part of Italian national heritage, the bridge's legacy continues through historical references and studies.
