Palazzo Barbaro Wolkoff, Gothic palace in Dorsoduro, Venice, Italy
The palace stands along the Grand Canal with a red brick facade featuring Gothic windows arranged in an asymmetrical pattern across multiple floors.
Originally built in Byzantine style, the palace underwent Gothic renovations in the 15th century before Russian artist Alexander Wolkoff acquired it in 1883.
The palace hosted Italian actress Eleonora Duse who resided on the top floor in 1894 as a guest of Alexander Wolkoff.
The building is situated between Ca' Dario and Casa Salviati, with coordinates 45°25′51″N 12°19′57″E marking its location on the Grand Canal.
The facade displays an unusual vertical development with various window types including monofora, bifora, trifora, and quadrifora distributed without regular order.
