Basilica di San Biagio, Cento, Minor basilica in Cento, Italy.

The Basilica di San Biagio features a marble main altar, stone pavements, and a bell tower designed by Pietro Alberto Cavalieri in 1760.

Construction of the current structure started in 1732 under architect Alfonso Torreggiani and concluded in 1750, with official consecration taking place in 1764.

The church belongs to the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Bologna and maintains its role as the principal religious center for the Cento community.

Located at Via Ugo Bassi 47 in Cento, the basilica reopened in 2018 following extensive restoration work after the 2012 Emilia earthquake.

The original church site dates back to 1045, with a stone inscription in the altar confirming the presence of an early Romanesque structure.
