Maizuru Castle Park, Castle in Japan
Maizuru Castle Park, also known as Kofu Castle, is a historic site located in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.
The castle was built during the Sengoku period by Takeda Shingen and later reconstructed in the Edo period.
It's a symbol of the city of Kofu, hosting several cultural events throughout the year.
The park offers beautiful views of the city and Mount Fuji on clear days.
Despite being destroyed several times, the stone walls and moats are original, dating back to the 16th century.
