Ena, Mountain city in southeastern Gifu Prefecture, Japan

The city extends across 504 square kilometers of mountainous terrain, intersected by multiple rivers including the Kiso and Agi waterways.

Ena emerged from the merger of two towns and six villages in 1954, with further expansion in 2004 through the incorporation of neighboring municipalities.

The Hiroshige Museum of Art displays woodblock prints depicting scenes from Japan's historical roads, particularly the Nakasendo trading route.
