Ta Prohm, Buddhist temple in Cambodia
Ta Prohm is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th and early 13th centuries.
Originally called Rajavihara, Ta Prohm was one of the first temples founded pursuant to that program.
The temple's most distinctive feature is the trees growing out of the ruins, giving it a surreal atmosphere.
Due to its popularity, visitors may experience crowds at Ta Prohm.
Unlike most Angkorian temples, Ta Prohm has been left in much the same condition in which it was found.
