West Mebon, Hindu temple in Cambodia
West Mebon is a partially submerged temple at the center of the now dry West Baray reservoir.
Constructed during the 11th century, under King Udayadityavarman II of the Khmer Empire.
Features elements of Hinduism, with Vishnu being the main deity worshipped.
Accessible via a dirt road leading to the site within Angkor Archaeological Park.
Home to a gigantic bronze Vishnu statue, which was one of the largest bronzes of the Khmer civilization.
