Silver Pagoda, Phnom Penh, Buddhist temple in Cambodia
The Silver Pagoda is located on the south side of the Royal Palace, Phnom Penh.
Built in 1866 by King Norodom, the Silver Pagoda is a prominent structure in Phnom Penh.
The temple houses many national treasures including gold and jeweled Buddha statues.
Visitors must dress respectfully when visiting the Silver Pagoda.
The pagoda's floor is made up of 5,329 silver tiles, hence its name.
