Suta de Movile, Landscape reserve in Rîșcani District, Moldova.
The Suta de Movile reserve extends across 1,072 hectares of land characterized by numerous hills and mounds forming a distinct geological pattern in northern Moldova.
The protected area received its official landscape reserve designation to preserve the natural formations and ecological systems that developed over thousands of years.
Local communities maintain traditional celebrations at specific locations within the reserve, particularly near the crosses placed on several of the prominent mounds.
Visitors can access the reserve through marked trails from neighboring villages, with spring and autumn offering the most favorable conditions for exploration.
The reserve contains a network of one hundred natural hills spread across its territory, creating an unusual topographic formation in this part of Moldova.
