Skopje International Airport is a commercial aviation facility in Petrovec with a 2,950-meter runway and 45-meter-wide platform designed to serve multiple aircraft types. The terminal includes duty-free shops, restaurants, and standard passenger facilities for regional and international flights.
Operations began at this facility in 1928, with the first commercial service by Aeroput departing for Belgrade in 1929. The airport subsequently expanded its network to include routes toward Thessaloniki and Athens.
