Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall, also known as the Red Waterfall, is situated on the Ulaan River.
The waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes over 20,000 years ago.
It's a significant site for local herders and an inspiration for Mongolian folklore.
Best visited during the rainy season when the water flow is at its peak.
The waterfall freezes during winter, creating an incredible ice sculpture.
