Lomen stave church

Lomen stave church is a wooden structure of worship in Vestre Slidre featuring a rectangular nave, a narrow chancel, and a small sacristy on the south side. The vertical timber construction with its characteristic elements defines the building's appearance.

The church dates from the Middle Ages and was constructed in the 12th century. Excavations at the site revealed numerous artifacts from that era, offering insights into the community's daily life at the time.
