Skuibakken

The Skuibakken winter sports facility includes a K-110 hill and extends to a height suitable for professional ski jumping competitions.

Opening in 1928, the ski jumping hill underwent major reconstructions in 1938 and 1950, leading to multiple record-breaking performances.

Norwegian winter sports traditions continue through this facility, which served as a primary venue for national championships from 1965 to 1991.

The hill maintains specific measurements, including a K-point of 110 meters and a hill size of 119 meters for competitive jumping standards.

Jostein Smeby achieved the longest recorded distance at Skuibakken with a jump of 127.5 meters during a 1996 trial round.
