Skien Fritidspark, Multi-purpose stadium in Skien, Norway
Skien Fritidspark is a sports complex with multiple indoor and outdoor facilities spread across the grounds. It features two indoor sports halls, an ice hockey rink, a water park with outdoor pools, and several outdoor sports areas.
The original indoor hall, Skienshallen, opened in 1968 as the foundation for what would become a larger sports complex. The venue gained regional recognition in 1975 when it hosted the European Gymnastics Championships.
The facility serves as a gathering place where the community participates in sports and recreational activities throughout the year. Local residents come here for training, competitions, and leisure time with their families.
The complex is easily accessible with dedicated parking for visitors on site. The different facilities are well organized, making it simple to move between the various sports areas and attractions.
