Villa Busk is a modern residential house in Bamble built with concrete, glue-laminated timber, and redwood cladding in an innovative structural design. A 40-meter primary wing connects to a tower section via an interior bridge, with the tower containing two bedrooms, living spaces, laundry areas, and bathrooms arranged around a slate-floored corridor.
Renowned architect Sverre Fehn designed this private residence in 1989 for record company executive Terje Welle Busk, with construction completed in 1990. The Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage granted official protection status to the building, its interior, and grounds in 1993 in recognition of its architectural merit.
