Pomnik ofiar Fortu VII nad Rusałką w Poznaniu, War memorial at Lake Rusalka in Poznań, Poland
The granite monument stands on a two-step platform near Lake Rusalka, featuring metal plaques that commemorate victims of Fort VII executions.
In January 1940, German SS forces executed 2,000 Polish citizens at this location during their systematic campaign of eliminating Polish population.
The memorial inscription carved in metal honors Polish citizens who died for their homeland, serving as a testament to their sacrifice.
Visitors can reach the monument using public transportation from Niestachowska bus stop or by following paths along the railway line.
The memorial includes concrete flower containers and stands approximately 100 meters from the eastern shore of Lake Rusalka.
