Krzemień

Lake Krzemień is situated in the Pojezierze Ińskie region and spans a large water body with varied shoreline zones. Beech forests line its northern edge, and the water reaches considerable depths in several areas.

The area around the lake was placed under protection in 2007 as a geological nature reserve. This status was created to preserve the natural springs and marsh habitats that define the landscape.

The lake sits within a region of historic villages and walking routes that visitors use to explore the glacial landscape. The surrounding forests and shorelines are woven into local life and shape how people experience this area.

The lake is accessible via well-marked pathways and offers several access points along its shores. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear since forest trails and shoreline areas can be muddy or uneven depending on the season.

On the southern shore near the village of Krzemień stands an ancient linden tree protected as a natural monument. This tree serves as a memorable landmark and gathering spot for hikers exploring the area.
