Konopacki Palace in Warsaw

The Konopacki Palace stands at 11/13 Strzelecka Street with a rectangular layout, displaying Neo-Renaissance architecture and cast-iron balconies on its single-axis facade.

Built between 1861 and 1866, this first brick structure in Nowa Praga was commissioned by Ksawery Konopacki before changing ownership to Russian general Agafon Wakakhov in 1881.

The palace earned monument status in 2005 with registration number A-416 and represents an essential part of Warsaw's architectural development during the 1860s.

Following extensive renovations that began in 2017, the palace will function as a cultural center equipped with art studios and a garden featuring the original terrace.

The building contained three separate entrances: one on Strzelecka Street, another at the rear, and a third in the north annex where Konopacki likely resided.
