Katara Towers, Skyscraper complex in Lusail, Qatar
The Katara Towers consist of two parallel buildings reaching 211 meters in height, featuring glass and steel structures with 40 floors each.
Construction of the towers began in 2014 with a budget of 600 million dollars and reached completion in 2022 during the FIFA World Cup.
The towers house two luxury hotels, Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, contributing to Qatar's position as a destination for international travelers.
The complex includes 67 elevators, specialist boutiques, movie theaters, and various restaurants spread across 300,000 square meters of space.
On August 1, 2023, athlete Jaan Roose established a world record by performing a slackline walk across the illuminated facade of the towers.
