Amber Room, Lost treasure in Russia
The Amber Room is a world-famous chamber decorated in amber panels backed with gold leaf and mirrors.
Originally constructed in the 18th century in Prussia, the Amber Room disappeared during World War II and was recreated in 2003.
Often referred to as the 'Eighth Wonder of the World', it represents a significant part of Russian cultural heritage.
Today, visitors can see a reconstruction of the Amber Room at the Catherine Palace of Tsarskoye Selo near Saint Petersburg.
Despite numerous attempts to locate it, the original Amber Room has never been found.
