The Tsar Cannon is a large early modern period artillery piece on display on the grounds of the Moscow Kremlin.
It was cast in 1586 in Moscow, by the Russian master bronze caster Andrey Chokhov.
Often credited as the largest cannon by caliber in the world, it is a popular tourist attraction and has become a symbol of Russian power.
The cannon is located within the Kremlin walls, which can be visited with an entrance ticket.
Despite its size, the Tsar Cannon was never actually used in a war.
