Nyandomsky District, Administrative district in Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia.

The district spans across 8,093 square kilometers of northern Russian territory, featuring dense forests, numerous rivers, and lakes within the Arkhangelsk Oblast.

Established in July 1929, the district emerged from territories of Andreevskaya, Bolshestoronskaya, Voezerskaya, and parts of Melentyevskaya and Moshinskaya volosts of Kargopolsky County.

The district maintains Russian traditions through regular folk music performances, handicraft exhibitions, and local food markets that represent regional specialties.

The district connects to major transportation routes through the Nyandoma railway station, providing access to various parts of the Arkhangelsk region.

The district underwent administrative reform in 2022, merging Nyandomskoye urban settlement with Moshinskoye and Shalakushskoye rural settlements into one municipal territory.
