Our Lady of Vladimir Church

Our Lady of Vladimir Church is a complex with two separate worship spaces: the Upper Vladimir Church and the Lower St. John of Damascus Church, each with its own spiritual focus. The exterior displays Russian Revival features including domed roofs, Corinthian columns, and ornate stucco work covering the facades.

The building was constructed in 1875 on Kotlin Island as a work of 19th-century religious architecture. It gained protection as a regional cultural heritage site in 1991.

The church is dedicated to the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God and reflects Orthodox worship traditions that visitors can observe in regular services today. This place holds deep spiritual meaning for the Kronstadt community.
