Yalta Zoo, Private zoological park in Yalta, Ukraine.
The Yalta Zoo extends across 3 hectares and contains over 600 bird species and 100 animal species, including tigers, lions, and leopards.
The facility began in 1990 as a cooperative zoo near the Glade of Fairy Tales, initially displaying yaks, peacocks, bears, and squirrels.
The zoo maintains protection programs for numerous species listed in the Worldwide Red Book, including chimpanzees, Himalayan bears, and Sumatran tigers.
Visitors can access the zoo daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, with options to purchase food for animal feeding near the ticket office.
In 2012, the zoo recorded the first birth of white tigers in Ukraine when four cubs were born to Tigryulya and Patrice.
