King Fahd's Fountain, Fountain in Saudi Arabia
King Fahd's Fountain, also known as the Jeddah Fountain, is the tallest of its type in the world.
It was donated to the city of Jeddah by King Fahd, hence its name.
The fountain has become an iconic symbol of Jeddah and is a popular tourist attraction.
The fountain jets water to a maximum height of approximately 312 metres above the Red Sea.
Unlike many other fountains, King Fahd's Fountain uses saltwater instead of freshwater.
